Stand Out Advantage™

You are good at the work. Now be the one they can describe.

You have seen what the gap is. The people who decide your next move choose among several strong people, and they pick the one they can clearly describe. Right now that is not reliably you. In six months, that changes.

Enrollment is open through Thursday, September 10.

The problem you already know

Your value is real. The people who decide cannot read it.

You are doing excellent work. You may even be getting recognized for it. And still the bigger role goes to someone else, and no one can quite tell you why.

You cannot say what makes you different without sounding like everyone else with your title. The people who decide are working from a fuzzy, secondhand picture of you. Every time you change roles, you rebuild your case from scratch.

This is not a performance problem. It is an interpretation problem. Your value is not being read clearly by the people who decide what you are ready for next. That is fixable, and it is the only thing this program works on.

What Stand Out Advantage is

Positioning for how you are read.

You are already good at the work. This is built for go-to-market and presales professionals specifically, by someone who led those teams for 25 years.

Other programs make you better at the job or louder about it. This makes you the one they can describe and choose, whether you are moving up where you are or moving somewhere new. Over six months, you move through four modules, each closing a different part of the gap between the value you deliver and the value they see.

See it in action

What this sounds like in practice.

The four modules

The arc: direction, translation, application, compounding.

01
Define your edge
From what you do to what you want to be known for
You find the pattern in your own track record and name the one thing you are the one to pick for, in a single clear line that does not sound like your title.
02
Build your presence
From telling your story to letting it travel
You make that line portable, so the people who decide carry it into the rooms you are not in, instead of you having to be present for it to land.
03
Master your moments
From preparing for the moment to converting it
You turn the high-stakes conversations, the reviews, the interviews, the pitch rooms, into moments where your value comes through instead of getting lost.
04
Lead your growth
From working a role to building a career
You stop rebuilding from scratch with every move and start compounding, so each step makes the next one easier.
How it works

Six months, built around a working role.

  • Four modules over six months
  • Eight Stand Out Plays, the exercises that produce your actual positioning materials
  • 12 live group sessions across the six months
  • Community access alongside a cohort moving through the work with you
  • Lifetime access to the materials

The program starts the week of September 14. There is a planned integration break from October 7 to 19, and the program resumes October 20. The live calls are where the coaching happens, and every one is recorded, so if you cannot make one, you can watch the replay.

Proof

The work was never the issue. The reading of it was.

Sierra

Sierra was the engineer who got handed the hard problems, the complex builds most of her peers would route around. She delivered every time. And every year, the same feedback: you have done all these things above your role, but you need more experience with complex work. She had done that work repeatedly. The review did not reflect it.

The problem was not her performance. She made difficult work look effortless and was uncomfortable claiming credit, so the value never registered with the people deciding what she was ready for next. Through the program she found the pattern in her own track record and got clear on her edge, enough to claim it plainly. The result was an engineering manager role that opened through someone who already knew her work and her goal. She did not start over with strangers. Her reputation was already in the room.

Alex

Alex had joined an organization that was not aligned with his skills or values, and the read on him there had gone sideways. Moving was the right call. But most people change companies and carry the old read with them, because the company was never the thing that was broken. Alex changed the story he led with before he walked in the door, and landed somewhere aligned in five months, because the repositioning came with him.

"I hit a career stumble by joining an organization that wasn't aligned to my skills and values. I was able to find my next opportunity within five months of beginning work with Laurie. The coaching she offers is a great mix of supportive, practical, and results oriented."

Tricia

Tricia had experience across functions, and that was the problem. She could do a lot of things well, so she kept chasing roles by skill set rather than by what she wanted to be known for. The story about her was wide and unfocused, and the read matched it. What changed was not her experience. It was the decision to stop describing what she could do and start defining what she wanted to be known for. Once that sentence got clear, owning the rest of her story got easy.

"Laurie was a gift to me at an important inflection point in my career. If you are looking for focus, guidance, and a cheerleader all wrapped into one experienced professional, look no further."

Brandon

Brandon spent 18 years running his own agency, then moved in-house into a Solutions Engineer role, a different function with a different language. The hard part was never whether he could do the work. It was that 18 years of what he had built did not translate on its own. To a hiring team, agency owner and Solutions Engineer read as two different worlds. The value was all there. The sentence connecting it to the role was not. What changed was the story, not the resume, and when the story connected, the role followed.

"Working with Laurie was a game-changer. She helped me craft a compelling story that connected my background to the role I wanted, and transformed my resume into something that truly reflected my value. I wouldn't have landed my solutions engineering role without her."

Questions

Before you decide.

How is this different from career coaching?
Career coaching usually works on your choices and your actions, what to do next, how to show up. This works one level deeper, on how your value is read by the people who decide your next move. It is career strategy and positioning, changing what others understand about you, not just how you behave. It is built for go-to-market and presales professionals specifically.
I am not job hunting. Is this still for me?
Yes. Most of the work applies whether you are moving up where you are or moving somewhere new. The point is that the people who decide can describe your value clearly, which matters inside your current company as much as outside it.
How much time does it take?
Four modules over six months, 12 live group sessions, and the Stand Out Plays between them. It is built to fit around a working role, not to compete with it.
What if I cannot make a live session?
The live calls are where the coaching happens, so come when you can. Every one is recorded, so if you have to miss a call, you can watch the replay and stay with the work.
What is the difference between the program and the 1:1 Strategy Track?
The program is the full curriculum, the plays, and the group sessions. The 1:1 Strategy Track is an add-on, four private sessions on your actual materials. Add it at checkout or in your first 30 days.
Is there a payment plan?
Yes. You can pay $2,497 in full, or choose two payments of $1,349, charged 30 days apart. The 1:1 Strategy Track add-on is paid in full and is not part of the plan.
