Three Things Almost Nobody Does Before Their Fall Conversations
Each one moves how you are read more than another quarter of output.
Name the one person whose read on you decides your next step. Not the organization, one person. Write the single sentence you want that person repeating about you when you are not in the room. Bring the specific evidence that makes the sentence impossible to argue with.
Most people never do any of the three, and then wonder why strong work keeps getting passed over.
That is the whole workshop, and I am teaching it live tomorrow and Thursday, on your own situation. For weeks I have been writing about the gap between what you do and how you are read. This is where it stops being a series you read and starts being a plan you leave with.
Two sessions, the same hour run twice: Wednesday, August 26 at 11:00am ET, and Thursday, August 27 at 3:00pm ET. It is a working session, not something you half-listen to while clearing your inbox. You walk out with your own sentence drafted and a plan for the rooms that decide your year. There is no recording of either one.
Registering gets you the Name the Read worksheet, which takes five minutes and is what we work from. Showing up live gets you the Sentence Starter Kit, the before-and-after examples that turn what you see into a sentence you can use on Monday.
Here is the honest cost of waiting, and it is not a countdown. The reads that shape your Q4 are forming now, in conversations you are not part of. Sit this out and start in October, and you are not starting fresh, you are arguing against an impression that already set. The people who use August do not work harder in the fall. They walk in already read correctly.
If you have followed the series and thought "yes, this is me," this is where you do something about it.
